Georgia and Armenia Caucasus Tour: 10-Day Driving Route and Border Crossing Tips

My partner and I are planning a 10-day self-drive road trip starting in Tbilisi, exploring various regions of Georgia, and then crossing over into Armenia to see places like Lake Sevan and Yerevan. We would love some advice on the best driving route to maximize our time without feeling too rushed. That sounds like an amazing road trip! For a 10-day split, I recommend spending 6 days in Georgia (Tbilisi, Kazbegi, Kakheti) and 4 days in Armenia. Make sure your rental agency explicitly allows cross-border travel to Armenia, as not all of them do.
